A very nice copy of a very collectable book.
This is a 2nd Edition, Fifteenth impression overall, published in 1965.
Sadly lacking the original ifteenth impression dustjacket, but comes in a facsimile jacket of the first impression The Hobbit to protect it.

The book is in a very good condition.
The only faults are faded spine. Some past bookseller penicl notes on the front map and a glued in exlibris sticker.

No offsetting or foxing present on the maps or in the textblock, all clean and bright.
No other writing in the book, except for the pencil notes on the map.

The books cover is clean, bright, and unblemished, except for the fading of the spine.
Light bit of pushing to the top spine end, but no wear or fraying whatsoever. Very rare to find in this state.

An early collectable copy that shows very well, sadly lacking the original dustjacket.
