A slipcase with art by Tolkien, holding 4 mass market paperbacks, covers are unique for the Magnum edition and have been reprinted with other covers and colours using the same ISBN. This is the first Magnum edition for the Canadian Market, printed in Toronto.
These paperback books are in very good condition. With some bumps, rubbing to the corners. All four show signs to the spine of being read.

The slipcase has the usual wear but is sturdy, with rubbing and bumps causing colour loss to corners and edges.
Some rubbing to bottom. Some bumps to the front corners of the slipcase. Paper on top has come loose and some chips missing.

A nice Canadian paperback set of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit - the so called Magnum Edition, with the famous art by Tolkien on covers and slipcase.
